It has been a season of opposites for these two teams who meet at the Turf of Gillette Stadium at 1:00pm ET in the New Year and it is a final opportunity for one QB to shine this season. In one corner, we have a team that has already wrapped up the division title, home field advantage, and a first round bye throughout the playoffs. In the other corner, we got a team that's like it has absolutely zero pulse going into the end of fiscal year and is a train wreck offensively.
Another sport franchise in town has come along more recently. That is the Miami Heat of the NBA. A new team in 1988 to go along with the Charlotte Hornets, Miami has been a fairly successful team since their creation. Currently, of course, the team has been lifted through the signature of Lebron James and Chris Bosh to go along with Dwayne Wade, but the team also won a championship in 2006 after beating the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA finals. The team actually was so successful that during the mid to late 2000s they won three consecutive divisional championships, making them one of only few teams to accomplish that feat in the story of the NBA. Henne knows that another bad performance will ask for a lot of questions in this offseason, one that is destined to become a long one in Miami. A man like QB Jake Locker could be heading to South Beach in the NFL Draft if the Fins play their cards right, a move that they might be more likely to make if Henne really cannot get anything going during the last month of the season. We do need to remember that Henne has battled some knee injuries at times this year. However, he was as healthy as a horse for the last four games of the season. The Fins were right there in the game at 6-5. wins in three of the four games probably would include at least made things remotely interesting in the push for the playoffs. Instead, Henne went into a shell, throwing for just 783 yards with four scores against six picks. He single handedly blew games against the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions at home, both games of which really ought to have been won and won comfortably, and his offense only averaged 15.3 PPG in that stretch.
Miami Dolphins: More News
This is apparently the most worrisome matchup for the Dolphins. The Dolphins will likely be relying on two inside linebackers who're rather poor in coverage against backs and athletic tight ends with Karlos Dansby still suffering from a turf toe injury. Last week without Dansby on the field, the Dolphins surrendered some huge plays to Detroit's Jahvid Best and Brandon Pettigrew. Pettigrew caught four passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. Best accounted for probably the most critical play of the game, a 54 yard touchdown reception in the last quarter that jump-started their comeback. http://davidweekly.weebly.com/blog/chinese-herbal-weight-loss-advice, for more information.....
That decision was second-guessed when Wes Welker-the 2009 NFL leader in receptions-suffered a major knee injury during the first quarter, causing him to miss a 33-14 loss to Baltimore in the wild-card round. Most of the intrigue Sunday will revolve around how Belichick chooses to play it this time after New England (13-2) clinched home-field advantage until the Super Bowl with last Sunday's 34-3 win at Buffalo, the team's seventh straight victory. ' There's a lot of things that would go into that conversation, a lot of things we'll take into account,' Belichick said. ' There's some players individually whose situations are a bit different than other guys. ... We'll do what is best for the football team, both separately and jointly. ' The coach may opt to provide an extended rest to several rookies playing key roles, including tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez, Pro Bowl cornerback Devin McCourty, and linebacker Jermaine Cunningham. Hernandez and Cunningham did not play in Buffalo.
